Combustion of an Aromatic Series
In this portion of the lab you will consider three compounds with decreasing
amounts of aromaticity in the naphthalene series shown below:

- Weigh out approximately 0.7 g of each sample. Weigh accurately to +/- 0.1 g.
- Follow the general combustion procedure using the compounds from the series above. Take temperature vs. time measurements.
- You will be comparing the heat of combustion for these samples and
looking at differences that arise as a result of the amount of aromaticity.
