Apparatus Calibration

The calibration of the apparatus is done using duplicate samples of benzoic acid. Benzoic acid is a powder and needs to be compressed into pellets. Weigh out approximately 0.8 to 0.9 g of benzoic acid for each pellet. Follow the general combustion procedures. Make at LEAST two calibration runs with benzoic acid.
